Our Process - Phone Consult

Initial Phone Consultation

We’ll set up a call to get a better understanding of what you are hoping to accomplish and where you are currently in the process. We then provide you with our recommendations and let you know when we might be able to fit you into our project schedule. After this call we will follow up to schedule a site visit to learn more.

Site Visit

We will come to you to evaluate existing conditions of the area you’re looking to improve or add to, learn more about what you want to accomplish and advise the best way to go about it. We can discuss what materials we recommend you use, which subcontractors may be involved in the process, and take any initial measurements to help shape our price estimates. We will now provide a possible price range and scope for your project.

Pre-Construction

Should you select us as your contractor, we’ll begin planning…we spend a significant amount of time in pre-construction in order to give an as accurate as possible idea of the timeline, schedule, price and scope of every project. In this phase we ask that all design decisions and material choices are finalized. We also want to answer any questions and cover any potential challenges we may face. At the completion of pre-construction we will end up with any and all pricing, perspectives, and plans required to move forward.

Construction

To enter this phase a contract is signed, permits are pulled and we’re set to begin. Our project manager is in constant contact with our clients and will communicate every step of the construction process and help resolve any issues or questions that may come up.

Final Walkthroug

Walk through and Warranty

At the conclusion of construction we will walk through your space with you to ensure you are satisfied and we’ve completed all work that we were contracted to do. Boyd Builders is committed to a two year warranty of our work for any repairs or replacements.
